Accessibility Will Soon Become Mandatory: What Companies Need to Change on Their Websites

A good summary of the key information relating to Germany’s Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

The topic is generally already on the agenda at large corporations. In my view, however, it affects companies of all sizes that operate in B2C commerce, to a greater or lesser extent.

… on 28 June 2025, the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) will come into force. It transposes the European Union’s Accessibility Act, adopted in 2019, into German law.
­ The BFSG makes accessibility mandatory for numerous products and services.

Launch Dates for LTE Versions of Galaxy S3 LTE, Note 2 and 10.1 LTE Leaked

The Android Geeks blog has information suggesting that LTE versions of the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet will be released in Germany later this year.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE is due to appear in calendar week 40/2012, the first week of October.
Two weeks later, in calendar week 42, the Galaxy Note 2 LTE is expected to follow, with the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE tablet scheduled to become available in Germany in calendar week 46.

It is not yet known which German LTE frequency bands the Galaxy devices will support.
