The topic is generally already on the agenda at large corporations. In my view, however, it affects companies of all sizes that operate in B2C commerce, to a greater or lesser extent.

… on 28 June 2025, the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) will come into force. It transposes the European Union’s Accessibility Act, adopted in 2019, into German law.

Both platforms can be used in a wide range of device categories. For FastConnect 7900, Qualcomm mentions smartphones, tablets, notebooks and wireless AR and VR headsets, among others. Snapdragon X80 additionally targets in-car infotainment systems and industrial IoT scenarios. The commercial launch of both systems is planned for the second half of 2024. The first end devices equipped with them could therefore be presented as early as this quarter.
