… or a foldable tablet? That is the question when you watch videos of the Kyocera Echo, initially available only in the USA. I find the folding mechanism very impressive. The question, however, is whether the construction will survive a two-year contract period. The US blog engadget.com raises the same concern in its review.
In the end, engadget nevertheless considers the Kyocera Echo interesting and useful, and believes there is certainly a group of buyers for whom the folding concept is attractive. It also predicts that we will see more dual-screen smartphones – or foldable tablets – in future, such as the Acer Iconia, which I have written about before.
