I have often wondered why I had never seen a white iPhone 4. And it looks as though that may remain the case. The fourth generation of the phone that revolutionised the market will probably continue to be available only in black. On 28 October 2010, Golem.de reported that the white model was no longer listed in the Apple Store. Macnotes.de has somehow obtained a white device and may also have discovered the reason. The white housing significantly interferes with the camera and video functions. Photos become particularly unusable when the flash is used.
Jobs’ Intelligence-Service Methods Work
I find it impressive that Apple managed to keep this design flaw secret for half a year … It seems Mark Papermaster, the head of iPhone hardware who was dismissed in August 2010, may have messed up more than just the iPhone 4 antenna.
Macnotes.de reports extensively here on the camera problems of the white iPhone 4.
