Period.<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.golem.de\/news\/funktionalitaet-von-ipados-das-ipad-kann-es-immer-noch-nicht-punkt-2405-185466.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">golem.de<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under \u201cTerrible File Management\u201d, he criticises the lack of a classic desktop that users \u2013 myself included \u2013 like to clutter with files.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, if direct access to files from the Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad is important to you, it is quite easy to set up in iOS\/iPadOS.<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add the Files app widget to one of the Home Screens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit the widget and select a favourite folder as its source.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To add folders or files to Favourites, long-press a file or folder in the Files app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add not only files and folders in iCloud to Favourites, but also local ones on the iPhone or iPad.
