I had long used a NAS for storage, but that was not the same as having an organised system.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This time, I approached the subject more fundamentally. Instead of merely digitising documents, I wanted to store them in a way that was <strong>searchable, automatically categorised and maintainable over the long term<\/strong>. Artificial intelligence played a larger role than I initially expected \u2013 not as a magical black box, but as a practical tool in the background.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the help of AI tools for planning and configuration, Docker as the technical foundation and <strong>Paperless-NGX<\/strong> as the document management system, a setup gradually emerged that genuinely works in everyday life. It is not perfect, but it is understandable, extensible and stable.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This article deliberately is <strong>not<\/strong> a single step-by-step guide.
